Tournament Chair Change

With the exception of the July 10 Shotgun, Eileen Ruzicka will be the primary tournament chair for GWGA for the remainder of the season.  Any future questions about league day play (cancellations, late sign-ups, guests, scorecards and such) should be directed to Eileen. For the July 10 Shotgun, Eileen will be out of town so Lucinda Audey will be working that event.  A sign-up for the shotgun will be sent out when the date gets closer.

For your info, when you email greendale@cox.net, it is received by 4 people: Lucinda Audey, Eileen Ruzicka, Judy Erickson (Sign Ups) and Sally Reams (website).  They work together and back each other up to ensure you get an answer if one of them is unavailable.

How to cancel a tee time sign-up instruction has also been updated with Eileen’s info.

July 10 Shotgun

Our July 10 shotgun would be a great opportunity for a golfer to learn more about our league.  The shotgun format and luncheon afterwards will provide an opportunity to play a fun round with us and to experience the comaradarie that makes our league more than just a league.  Cost is greens/cart fee and $8 for lunch.

Handicaps, Mobile GHIN App, ESC Scores

Please be sure you post all your Greendale league day scores in the GHIN system.

For those with a smart phone, there is a GHIN Mobile App you can use on your phone.   Download the free app for your Android or Apple product by entering the key word GHIN Mobile App and search Google Play (formally, the Android Market) or the iTunes Store.

Also, it is to your advantage to post your ESC score versus your raw score, so understand what it is.  ESC scoring is very clearly explained here:  USGA EQUITABLE STROKE CONTROL PROCEDURE.

You may enter your score on the GHIN computer in the clubhouse or you may enter it from your home computer by going to http://www.ghin.com, clicking on “post scores” and entering your GHIN number and last name; or you may also establish a GHIN account using your own user name and password.

If you want to know your GHIN number, Click here for a listing.
