2025 Awards Luncheon

Here are a few photos from the Fall luncheon. Thank you so much to our 2025 board for a great job over the past season, and to our luncheon organizers and door prize donors. Thanks also goes to Terri M. for taking photos. The photos include some of the awards given out. Members should check the minutes for full detail of awards. I believe all attendees received a door prize in addition to awards they earned. Congratulations to all our winners! Also at the business meeting, new Board members for 2026 were elected and appointees announced. If you missed the luncheon, please check the membership meeting minutes for a full report of the event!

Hole in One – No. 8!!

May started off with a bang for our Assistant Tournament Chair, Margaret Cuffe! I was fortunate enough to witness Margaret’s third Hole in one. When our foursome reached Hole 8, we were glad to be there. There had been some grumbling among the 4 of us – shots into the woods, sand traps, missed putts etc. The 3 of us (Kathi, Sally, Eileen) watched as Margaret hit a perfect shot, clearly going straight for flag stick and we heard a loud bang as it hit the flag pole and disappeared! And in unison we all exclaimed “DID THAT GO IN THE HOLE?”!!! Yep, it was in the hole. We had quite the celebration on No. 8, and birdie juice was simply not enough, so at the turn we had Sun Cruisers (vodka cocktails). Thanks for the inspiration Margaret!
