2023 GWGA Awards and 2024 News!

GWGA golfers, the GWGA luncheon at Laurel Hill Golf Course, was a terrific luncheon.  There were door prizes galore, election of new Board for 2024 and the food was yummy.

Big thanks to Kathi, the Board and the luncheon organizers, Carey, Wanda and Gary.  Many of your fellow golfers worked to make the luncheon a success.  Some of you donated door prizes or solicited rounds of golf at other courses. We thank those who supplied door prizes or helped with this event.

Thank you Margaret and Sue for all the work you did this year compiling scores, preparing the envelopes of money and presenting the awards!  Thank you also to those who took turns closing out the day on Thursdays following golf each week.

Golf Scores from the championship rounds are now visible in Leaderboard. Login, scroll down and click on “Results”; then scroll down to find “championship”; then click “Go” and you can see all the scores for each round, gross and net results.

2024 GWGA Golf Swap: Sue Edwards will be organizing a Golf Swap at our Spring 2024 meeting. Items donated must be in clean and good condition. NO golf clubs, please. At the Spring meeting, items will be placed on tables. Everyone who contributes will be given the opportunity to go through the line and pick one item, and once everyone has done so, members may go back and take whatever else remains. No money will exchange hands as it is a swap. Items remaining may be reclaimed by the owner or be donated to First Tee. So keep the Swap in mind as you clean out your closets and garage this winter and spring. If you can help with the swap, please contact Sue.

Congratulations to new and continuing Board Members, listed here.
