It was a beautiful Fall morning at Greendale today. We gathered at 7 a.m. for breakfast in the dark 🌚 and teed off just as the sun peeked through the beautiful fall trees. Thank you to those who helped set up, provided the food, and shuttled clubs from the parking lot to the carts.

Highlight of the day was a Hole in One on Hole 6 by Kyong Yi! Congratulations Kyong!
Winners included Dawn Gordon, Ann McClung, Margaret Melady and Lucinda Audey.

Tee time signups on Leaderboard will open every Sunday night at 7pm (starts Sunday Mar 24) and NEW this year: CLOSE on Monday night. Our Tournament Chair shared info about Leaderboard updates. Prior members will notice that things have moved around in leaderboard. Many more details are provided in your email from our Tournament Chair!

Our Membership Chair welcomed 10 new members! You may notice when you sign up for tee times the first few weeks that mentors and mentees will be pre-loaded. Mentors are coordinating with our Tournament Chair to line up times they can play with their mentees. For more information about our new members, see your email from our Membership Chair.

The golf swap was a huge success. Lots of nice golf shirts, shorts, skorts, vests, jackets and golf shoes were taken home and we donated a lot to The First Tee program. Thanks to all, I think everyone got to take home something useful!

Revised Bylaws were passed and will be posted soon. The goal was to move procedural details to the Member Handbook so the Bylaws would no longer need continual revisions.

Thanks to all the Board Members for a great, informative meeting. Kathi Pierce, Carey Durham, Anne Turcol, Sue Edwards and Ann Mcclung all shared details of their plans for the league this season. You will be hearing more from them. Stay tuned. Thank you also to the many volunteers who helped with the swap and at the registration table.
