Your GWGA Board  had 2 meetings over the winter months.  Here are a few items for 2017 you need to know.

Survey about start times for June, July and August.  34 members completed the survey.  The board reviewed the results and the majority voted for a summertime 7:30 tee time start.  Results were as follows:

• 20 golfers voted for summer (Jun July Aug) tee times to start at 7:30 a.m.
• 10 golfers voted for summer (Jun July Aug) tee times to start at 7:00 a.m.
• 4 golfers voted for summer (Jun July Aug) tee times to start at 8:00 a.m.

2017 Calendar has been set and is posted for your information.  It will be reviewed at the Spring Meeting.

Volunteers – A list of volunteer opportunities will be circulated at the Spring meeting again this year.  Please think about what you want to sign up to help with.  Every member is asked to participate in at least one thing, over and above playing golf;  your help is key to our achieving the many activities we have planned.

Your stories! – Some of you have not provided “your story” for inclusion in the membership directory.  Please send this to Sally, our webmaster, within the next couple of weeks. You can find her email here. Tell us something about yourself that we don’t already know!!  These are fun to read and helpful in getting to know each other better.  Perfect English is not required!!!
