Hello golfers!  The weather for thursday is looking GREAT!   The sign-up is so full we have opened a 9th foursome!   Welcome new members and returning members!   Here is a very quick summary of the 2015 Spring Meeting, with links to pertinent info for those who may have missed it:

• Our membership has grown to 50 people!
• Everyone, especially new people, please read the GWGA Member Handbook
• Core Values Statement.  The board drafted this statement to make these values clear to everyone and so we can  hold ourselves responsible to continue these values and maintain the character of our league that we all love so much.
• Golf trip May 19- 21 trip to The Woods, West Virginia (trip is full; to be on the waiting list contact Lucinda Audey).
• October 19-21 Penn National trip (trip is full, contact Carey Durham to be on the waiting list).
• New members have been paired with mentors. They will play together next couple of weeks.
• GWGA may have a golf equipment/clothing swap day following a shotgun.
• Printable Calendar of weekly tournaments posted.
• Tee time procedures posted.
• Most Improved trophy will be retired at season’s end, replaced by a monetary award.
• Sign Ups to be published Sunday evenings at 7pm.  Players have access to the Sign-up Genius website until Tues. at 8 pm.
• Chip-ins at Captain’s choice events will be awarded, but not birdies.
• Review of finances/books completed and accounts are in order as of Jan 2015
• Sue will be sending out periodic emails with golf tips/ strategies/”how to” video links.
• New double par rule: double par plus 3 putts instead of 4.
• Sue will also send periodic reminders about how improve pace of play.
