Please review and follow this lift, clean and place rule:

1) You must be on the fairway (you may not do this on the green)
2) You must mark your ball before you lift it.
3) Clean it, and place it only once, within 6″ of marker and no closer to the hole (if your ball rolls off the spot where you place it you cannot move it again).

We will have early sign up for the 3 Championship tournament rounds to allow the tournament chair extra time to make the foursomes and notify you of your tee times.

First sign up will be in your email on Thursday afternoon around 4 p.m. Deadline for that sign up will be Saturday the 21st at 9 p.m.

Reminder of time change this week, through the end of the season, our tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m.  Those in the first 3 foursomes are expected to arrive no later than 7:30. Everyone else please arrive no later than 8.  PLEASE REMEMBER that you may be moved to an earlier time after you arrive, if other golfers do not show up.

PLEASE SHOW UP if you sign up, unless you have an emergency situation. When you do not show up, it impacts your fellow golfers.  Not only do you take up a slot someone else may have wanted,  if you don’t come, it may also result in a another golfer not having anyone to play with, in which case the tournament chair and the starter are required to deal with moving golfers around.

RAIN? –  if it is raining at your house, it may not be raining at the golf course.  Often the TV weather stations talk about locations not in the vicinity of the golf course.   In the rare case there is a league cancellation for any reason, it will be sent out via email.  If you do not see an email, please come to the golf course.  If you have an emergency that prevents your attendance, either call the pro shop, or the night before call Lucinda’s HOME phone (703/317-0487)  and leave a message; please do not call her cell phone.
